All of us grieve in our own way, but often coming together to share our grief and accept the support of others, can facilitate our healing. If you have lost a loved one, you are invited to join a six-week grieving support group starting on Wed., August 2. We will meet from 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Wednesdays. Sessions will include a time to learn about grief, time to share your sorrow, and time to recognize and pray for healing. The group will be led by Lori Kruczek. All middle and high school youth are invited to join us in Siena Hall from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. for a fun evening of dinner, discussion, and games. We will also complete a small community service project. RSVP to attend online. We need volunteers to help with this event, contact Livia Telles-Rodriguez to volunteer!

On Sunday, July 23, the Church celebrates the Third World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly. Established by Pope Francis in January 2021, this observance is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of July, coinciding with the feasts of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s parents and Jesus’ grandparents, Sts. On June 21, 2023, Bishop Joe Vasquez of Austin presented the 2023 Lumen Gentium Awards to persons nominated by the pastors and staff of the Diocese of Austin parishes. The ceremony was held at the Mayborn Center in Temple. This year, Father Pat nominated Steve Dillon for the award. Congratulations to Steve for his years of service to the parish. Well done good and faithful servant.
Just for the Dads of the parish and preschool to get some time to hang out over the summer – by a campfire! We’ll meet one Wednesday evening each month beginning June 21, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the West parking lot. B.Y.O.B. and B.Y.O.Lawn chair.
Have a Classic Car? Like to show it off? The Knights of Columbus Council 8156 will hold its 3rd Annual Siena Car Show on Sunday, July 23 at Buck’s Backyard, 1750 South FM 1626 in Buda, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. This family-friendly event will benefit the Autism Society of Texas and Knights of Columbus local charities.

A Eucharistic Procession to celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi) will be held during the 11:30 am Mass this Sunday, June 11.
This weekend, all parish families are invited to participate in the Renew and Rejoice in His Spirit Campaign. We hope to preserve our sanctuary, reinvest in our parish, and support our diocese. We humbly ask for your prayerful consideration to join this important effort. By joining together as a parish family, we will ensure the success of this effort. We have begun the complete rebuilding of our Church sound system which was severely damaged by lightning in 2022. During this time, livestreaming, online homily recordings and hearing assistance in the Church sanctuary will be unavailable until further notice. We regret any inconveniences this may cause and thank the parish community for your patience.
While the priests are on retreat, the following schedule will be in place: Tuesday, May 23: Daily Mass at noon, no Reconciliation at 6:00 p.m., Eucharistic Service (No Mass) at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25: Eucharistic Service (No Mass) at noon.
Our Renew and Rejoice in His Spirit Campaign is anchored on safeguarding the future of our parish by making necessary updates to our sanctuary and investing back into our ministries and community. This weekend, we encourage all families to make their pledge to our campaign by dropping off their pledge card in the offertory basket or by scanning the QR codes in the pews. We have 2 upcoming classes scheduled to begin on May 17 and will meet through July 5. Classes are free and will meet on Wednesday afternoons in the Parish Center.
