The Amigos Club is a group of ethnically diverse parish adults which was formed in the early 1980's to promote spiritual and family activity within the parish community. Over the years the focus has come to include an Outstanding Achievement Award to honor St Catherine through high achieving parish students to promote scholastic excellence.
The group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm during the year except for July and August. Please consider joining us in promoting our Mission through the following activities that include fund raising fellowship and fun.
Fund raising activities
Breakfast Taco and Sausage Wrap Sales after Mass several times a year
St Catherine's Garage Sales several times during the year
Mexican Dinner in the fall and/or spring
Other events or activities as may approved
Community Activities
Outstanding Achievements Awards to recognize an elementary, middle, and high school student
Youth Ministry programs and special activities
Sponsor Hot Chocolate at the Christmas Around the World festivities
Organize the celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass and re-enactment of her appearance to St Juan Diego. The group is especially proud of the mosaic and accompanying statue of St Juan Diego in the Chapel as one of our biggest fund raising achievements.

This November, the Amigos Club held a Tamale Fundraiser. They took orders and made tamales in the Parish Center kitchen. They made prepared a total of 500 dozen tamales! It was a lot of hard work for this successful fundraiser. Job well done! Enjoy this video that shows the process:
