Here is an update on the construction of St. Catherine Church in India:
The construction on the Church in India is in full swing. Under the guidance of the pastor and the construction support group, the workers are toiling day and night to complete the entire work and hand it over by 15 th of January 2020. Keeping this in view, the pastor has already confirmed a date from the Bishop Poola, Bishop of Kurnool for the dedication. The church will be blessed and dedicated on January 20, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. with a solemn Thanksgiving Holy Mass and a festive meal. The faithful will celebrate the Feast of St. Catherine on the same day.
On January 3, 2020, five of our parishioners will be visiting the church and will come back with many pictures to share with us. On January 20, 2020, I will represent our parish community and come back with tons of pictures of the event.
As of now, most of the exterior work is completed and the workers have to finish the stucco work inside followed by electrification, flooring and painting. Here are the most recent pictures we got from the pastor Praveen. Click HERE for the pictures.
