DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY was established by Pope John Paul II in 2000 AD. The feast, which falls on the Second Sunday of Easter, recognizes the abundant mercy that God offers to us. John Paul II understood the Resurrection as the “miracle of mercy” which “radically changed humanity’s destiny.” Here at St. Catherine, we will celebrate on Sun., April 28, at 2:30 p.m. in the church with adoration, benediction and the singing of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
