The funeral for our beloved Fr. Oliver will commence with a vigil at St. Catherine of Siena on Sun., Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Catherine on Mon., Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow immediately after at Cook Walden Forest Oak Memorial Park. Following the burial, there will be a reception in Johnson Hall. Please bring a dessert to share with the community.
Monsignor Oliver Johnson, the founding pastor of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, passed away on Mon., Oct. 7, 2019. The funeral arrangements for our beloved Fr. Oliver are as follows:
There will be a Visitation and Rosary on Sun., Oct. 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4800 Convict Hill Rd., Austin, TX 78749. The Most Holy Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Fr. Oliver will be held at St. Catherine on Mon., Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow immediately at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Dr., Austin, TX 78749.
Following the burial, there will be a reception in Johnson Hall of the Parish Center at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Please bring a dessert to share with the community. You may bring desserts to Johnson Hall beginning the morning of Sun., Oct. 13. Please place them on the table labeled ‘Desserts’ in the back of Johnson Hall.
