Livestream, Recorded Homilies, and Hearing Assistance
Systems Going Offline Temporarily at St. Catherine of Siena
On Tuesday, May 30, St. Catherine of Siena will begin the complete rebuilding of our church sound system which was severely damaged by lightning in 2022. The parish has been waiting many months to begin this work for which many formal and technical requirements had to be met. The work will take at least a month and may be subject to delays, as the timeline is dependent on the synchronized delivery of both equipment and labor. During this time, the equipment that provides our internet livestreaming, homily recordings, and hearing assistance will be dismantled and rebuilt.
As a result, beginning on May 30, livestreaming, online homily recordings and hearing assistance in the Church sanctuary will be unavailable until further notice. Sound and video in the Café may also be affected. We regret any inconveniences this may cause and thank the parish community for your patience as we restore this vital church equipment to its rightful working order.
