October is Respect Life Month

OCTOBER IS RESPECT LIFE MONTH: The theme this year is “Moved by Mercy.” Pope Francis tells us that we are called to show mercy because mercy has first been shown to us. Let us pray that we may we be channels of God’s mercy by loving each person and celebrating the gift of his or her life. There are informational brochures on a variety life issues available on the table in the narthex. Also, we have our Respect Life Banner on display outside throughout the month of October, which is a reminder of some of the different ways we “respect life.”
