REMEMBERING YOUR LOVED ONES: One of our beloved parish customs is that on All Souls’ Day, Nov. 2, we offer an evening Mass to remember all the loved ones of our parish and of our parishioners who have died in the last year. This year is no exception; HOWEVER, our process for gathering the list of names to be read at the Mass will be different this year to maintain adequate distancing and avoid the passing pens and paper between different hands before Mass. Families of recently deceased loved ones for whom we have prayed at weekend Mass or in a funeral liturgy have been sent letters confirming that their loved one’s name is on the list. If you have received one of these letters, no further action is needed. If you wish to add a loved one to the list for whom you have not already received a letter,
contact Diane Bily at [email protected] in the parish office no later than Fri., Oct. 23.
After this date, you may still attend the Mass and light a candle for your loved one; however, only the names received by Oct. 23 will be read at the Mass.
