STORM DAMAGE TO THE PARISH CENTER:
Gratefully, most of our campus survived the historic weather of last week without any damage. Our one casualty was the water heaters affixed to the Parish Center by the kitchen entrance. These tankless heaters exploded causing water to flow into Johnson Hall. When we arrived on Sunday, we found water flowing from the heaters and about ¼ of an inch of water on about 50% of Johnson Hall. We know that this was more than we could handle alone so we asked the Knights for assistance. We must give a big shout out of THANKS TO THE KNIGHTS. More than a dozen of them arrived to assist with the clean up. With their help we were able to remove the water quickly to avoid damage to the floor. As you may know, plumbers are a rare commodity these days so it may take some time to repair the Parish Center. For now it has no water but THANKS BE TO GOD all else is fine on our campus.
