World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly

The 4th World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly will be observed on Sunday, July 28. “Do not cast me off in my old age” - Psalm71:9 is the theme chosen by Pope Francis.

Here at St. Catherine’s, we will commemorate it on Thursday, July 25, at the noon Mass. Following Mass, Senior Ministry will host a luncheon in Johnson Hall. We invite everyone to remember the elders in their lives, the grandparents and older members of our families who have been the firm foundation of our spiritual relationship with God. Enroll their names, whether living or deceased, in our book of Remembrance placed in the narthex in July.
