Make a Spiritual Communion
When you cannot receive Holy Communion, you can make a Spiritual Communion using the prayer below. Spiritual Communion is an expression of one’s passionate desire to receive Jesus in the Eucharist and is a loving embrace as though one had already received Him.
Spiritual Communion Prayer
My Jesus,
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.

Please click here to support our parish and ministries. The work of the parish goes on, and we must continue to pay bills for facilities and staff. Your online gifts and mailed checks help us continue to serve parishioners during this time of uncertainty. Thank you for your prayers and support.
Create a Prayer Space and Routine in Your Home
You can create a family or personal shrine or prayer center and set aside a designated time each day for prayer. Any corner or place in the house can be set aside for prayer and devotion, such as a dining room table or a sitting area. The prayer space could include a cross, a candle, a family rosary, and a Bible as well as religious iconography or small statues.
Take this opportunity to come together around God’s Word to soak in it and allow it to enter your hearts and minds. Here are the Daily Readings.

Covid-19: A Prayer of Solidarity
For all who have contracted coronavirus,
We pray for care and healing.
For those who are particularly vulnerable,
We pray for safety and protection.
For all who experience fear or anxiety,
We pray for peace of mind and spirit.
For affected families who are facing difficult decisions
between food on the table or public safety,
We pray for policies that recognize their plight.
For those who do not have adequate health insurance,
We pray that no family will face financial burdens alone.
For those who are afraid to access care due to immigration status,
We pray for recognition of the God-given dignity of all.
For our brothers and sisters around the world,
We pray for shared solidarity.
For public officials and decisionmakers,
We pray for wisdom and guidance.
Father, during this time may your Church be a sign of hope, comfort and love to all.
Grant peace.
Grant comfort.
Grant healing.
Be with us, Lord.
Amen.
