I Want to be a Catechist!

The last instruction that Jesus gave to his disciples was "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." Mark 16:15 By volunteering to be a catechist, you are doing one of the most important tasks that Jesus asks us to do. But besides helping the children and families of our parish to grow in their understanding of our faith, you will find that you, also, will grow in your relationship with God.

Please note that every catechist is required to be EIM compliant, meaning you have taken the Ethics In Ministry (EIM) certification program put on by the Diocese of Austin. Catechists are required to take this workshop every 3 years. If you have never taken it, you can sign-up here: https://www.austindiocese.org/application.
