Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOMS)
Many women long for motherhood and yet, when it arrives, find the task overwhelming and sometimes empty of value and worth. In Grace Within: A Personal Journal, the ancient Catholic spiritual practice of finding the sacred in the ordinary. It also answers the longing that mothers have to know that these daily tasks matter and that they matter in a divine way.
In the ten-week exploration of the topics in this book, many women have discovered that beneath the veils of the mundane lies a vast gold mine of purpose and value. The vocation of motherhood draws us closer to Christ’s call to love and the culmination of our Baptismal calling. Mothers of all stages in their mothering are invited to join the 38th group.
Orientation is June 6th, 2022 at 7:45 pm in the Parish Center
The group meets on Monday evenings in the summer for ten weeks, which includes an orientation, eight weeks of book study, a family picnic, and a Celebration. Women in every stage of their career: full-time, part-time and stay-at-home, find common ground in the topics explored in MOMS. After the summer, many women continue to meet in various formats and remain good friends.
