A special thank you to Alan Ringwood!

Note from Fr. Pat:

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that our beloved Organist and Choir Director Alan Ringwood is leaving St. Catherine’s for pastures new. His new home will be in Rochester, NY.

Alan has been with us for many years and during that time he was instrumental in developing our choirs and accompanying on the piano and organ. We are going to miss him terribly. We will miss him, not just because of the gifts he brought to St. Catherine’s but also because
he is a delightful person. His offering of music was not just a skill and a talent. His offering was also vocational. Alan loves the worship of God. He loves to make it beautiful with wonderful music. His last post at St. Catherine of Siena has been as musical director & organist at the 11:30 AM Mass. On Sunday, May 15, we are going to say goodbye to him with a presentation and acknowledgement at the 11:30 a.m. Mass. Please come if you want to thank him personally. After Mass we invite people to go into the Hall for some coffee and cake.

Alan, best wishes in your future endeavors in Rochester. Enjoy the cold winters. When you give up on the winters, come back to Austin and there will be a home here for you always.
