On Sunday, July 28, the Church celebrates the Fourth World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly. In 2021, Pope Francis established the celebration on the fourth Sunday of July, near the liturgical memorial of Saints Joachim and Anne, grandparents of Jesus. We are in year two of the National Eucharistic Revival. As a parish, we have chosen the book “Living the Mass: How one Hour a Week Can Change Your Life.” This book helps us to understand how the Mass prepares us to live out our baptismal call. Books will be available for $5 from the Adult Education Office later this month. We begin the week of November 5, but each group can set their own schedule. Click here for more information.

Everyone is invited to La Posada beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Johnson Hall. La Posada is a traditional Spanish religious festival that celebrates the journey that Mary and Joseph made from Nazareth to Bethlehem in search of a safe refuge (a Posada, an Inn or Shelter) where Mary gives birth to the baby Jesus. La Posada is sponsored by the ACTS Community, the Amigos Club, and the Knights of Columbus. Traditional refreshments, hot chocolate, pan dulce, and cookies will be served after the Posada.

The Women of the Parish are invited to join us for our Fall Retreat on September 27-30, 2018. The Retreat will be held at Eagle's Wings Retreat Center in Burnet, TX.
Members of all our Small Christian Communities and Small Faith Sharing Groups are invited to come together on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 25 from 2:30-4 PM. There will be a short presentation on Lent, a chance to share our experiences in Small Christian Communities, get to know each other and of course share some refreshments.
