Father Jonnes Gorremuchu

Father Johannes was ordained on March 19, 1993, in the Diocese of Vijayawada, India, where he served as Pastor of Vennanapudi and Bhyravapatnam parishes for 13 years. In 2006, he went to Italy to obtain his Licentiate in Moral Theology at Istituto Teologico Calabro “S.Pio X”, Cantanzaro, Italy. While he completed his studies, he worked as Associate Pastor in Parrocchia di Santa Maria Assunta, Archdiocese of Catanzaro. Fr. Johannes returned to India in 2015 and was made correspondent of Bishop Grassi High School and Director of St. Joseph’s Orphanage, Gunadala. Fr. Johannes came to the Diocese of Austin on Thanksgiving, 2022, and was assigned to St. Mary, Immaculate Conception in Brenham, served as Associate Pastor of St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church in Harker Heights, St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Cedar Park, and most recently as Associate Pastor at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Austin.
