Parish Service Day Nov. 5, 2011

The 1st Annual Parish Service Day was a huge success. About 170 parishioners came together to help with global and local needs. Local areas assisted were:

Mary House Catholic Worker, Casa Marianella, Posada Esperanza, Casa Gloria yard work, St. Louise House,

Annunciation Maternity Home, Trail Foundation, Angel Chapel Shelter and Habitat for Humanity.

The Catholic Relief Services partnered with Stop Hunger Now to help our parish mobilize to fundraise and pack food for 10,000 meals to be sent to Central America and Africa. Many thanks to all the parishioners who donated time, talent and treasure to this effort in the name of Christ!
