I love everything about preschool: the curious little minds, the adventurous spirits, and the sweet little hearts of all of my children! I feel so blessed to be a part of St. Catherine's Preschool. I am a Michigan native but have been in Texas for over 20 years. As a Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame graduate, I earned a B.A. in Early Elementary and also a Kindergarten Endorsement. With over 20 years of Early Childhood experience, I was a kindergarten teacher in Westlake for Eanes ISD, but also have experience with early elementary and special education in Galveston, Texas and South Bend, Indiana. I taught Pre-K in Austin before opening St. Catherine's Preschool in 2018. My husband (an Austin native) and I have been married for 18 years. We have two children: a son and daughter. Our family also consists of a dog, two cats, and backyard chickens. I look forward to meeting your little ones and making them an extended part of my family as we learn and grow together—and have a whole lot of fun doing it!
You may find me at my children's sporting events or enjoying a local establishment with family and friends. Make sure to say "Hello" if you see me around Austin or at mass!

Ms. Tila, 2's TT Lead Teacher I love when children have an "ah-ha" moment. When you see that the light bulb goes off and you know they just learned something new. It clicks and now their world just got a little bigger.
Ms. Lara, 2's TT Assistant Teacher My favorite part about teaching preschool is to see the accomplishment in the children's eyes when they can do something that they thought they might not be able to do.
Ms. Danielle, 2's TWT Lead Teacher Teaching preschool is fun, because, in a way, I get to be a kid again! Building blocks and coloring are my two favorite activities. The children are always quite amused when my towers are taller than they are. I love the pride the children show when they accomplish or create something. It is just priceless. And of course, the hugs and laughter make my heart smile.
Ms. Cassie, 2's TWT Assistant Teacher I love teaching because it is a different day everyday- like a rainbow. The hugs are tighter, the smiles get bigger and the laughs are louder-imaginations grow and personalities are so colorful. It’s a great day when you get something new from each child.
Ms. Belinda, 3's TWT Teacher My favorite part of teaching is leaving a child or parent feeling encouraged, empowered and successful! I love St. Catherine's Preschool and I want every person I meet to feel the same way!
Ms. Biry, 3's TWT Assistant Teacher What I like about teaching preschool would definitely have to be watching them grow and learning something new each day. Even if it’s a new word, song, game... anything!
Ms. Kim, 3's TWT Lead Teacher I love the precious children I get to spend my day with! I love seeing their face and eyes light up when they learn something new!
Ms. Cassie, 3's TWT Assistant Teacher I love teaching because it is a different day everyday- like a rainbow. The hugs are tighter, the smiles get bigger and the laughs are louder-imaginations grow and personalities are so colorful. It’s a great day when you get something new from each child.
Ms. Jenny, 3's TT Lead Teacher I love watching the kids grow and learn. Also seeing their joy and excitement makes teaching so much fun.
Ms. Heather, 3's TT Assistant Teacher My favorite part of teaching preschool is watching our students find joy in the simple. The excitement our kids get when we go for a nature walk around the church campus with magnifying glasses keeps me smiling for the rest of the day.
Ms. Juliana, Pre-K Teacher I am completely myself so that everyone else feels safe to be themselves too, encouraging confidence.
Ms. Erin, Pre-K Teacher My favorite part about teaching preschool are the "Ah Ha" moments where a concept or skill finally clicks for a child!
Ms. Ruth, Pre-K Teacher
