Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul strive to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person assistance to our brothers and sisters in need who call the SVDP helpline—by praying with them, listening to their needs and offering help to them in prescribed ways.
The St. Catherine of Siena Parish Chapter of SVDP meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Members usually serve 2-4 evenings per month. New members are paired with experienced members. 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.The Friends of the Poor Walk, coming up on Saturday, September 7 is another opportunity to do something tangible for the poor and needy of our parish by raising funds, one step at a time. Sign up to walk, sponsor a walker, or simply donate. Walk with your friends, bring your children, and tell your neighbors!
All funds raised from this walk will go directly to the St. Vincent de Paul conference at our parish. Join us at the Pavilion at Dick Nichols starting at 10:00 am and take a step to end poverty.
