REGISTRATION FOR CATHOLIC FAMILY FAITH CAMP 2023 WILL OPEN SOON!
"There's s'more to life with God!"
The heavens declare the glory of God!” (Psalm 19: 1)
9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Children entering grades 1 - 5 next year are invited to join us for a week of Catholic Family Faith Camp. Children entering Pre-K-4 and Kindergarten and a parent, grandparent or guardian are invited to join us, as well. We'll have music, prayer, outdoor activities, arts & crafts, water games, Bible stories, snacks and more! Together, we'll learn how "The heavens declare the glory of God!" and talk about how "There's s'more to life with God!".
Parent and adult faith formation is central to a strong faith community for our children. Parents, grandparents and guardians who are not serving as camp volunteer leaders with the children will have their own opportunity to learn about and grow in their faith each day.
Catholic Family Faith Camp takes a parish family. It is continuation of our parish commitment to form families by providing opportunites for them to learn, grow, pray and play together. The more adults we have serving in this ministry, the more children we can welcome to Camp. Please be generous with your time and consider volunteering to work with the children. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and other members of our parish family are encouraged to join us in this ministry. All adults must complete Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity in Ministry Requirements.
Summer Challenge is a week of fun, faith formation and service held in early summer. This year's Challenge will be held June 5 - 9. Monday through Thursday (8 a.m. - noon), teams of middle and high school students come together to learn a little about our Catholic faith and a spirituality of service before being sent out around Austin to do some service for others. The youth will learn about different organizations that help people in our area. On Friday (9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.), we will celebrate a week of service at hard work at Volente Beach.
